Behind The Scenes

Denver's 17th Avenue for Aimco Real Estate and Tryba Architects

We used a unique setup for this shot to get the camera up higher, and somewhat over traffic, but yet still stable enough to allow for along exposure of the traffic below. The camera was lifted up on a c-stand about 10ft high with a weighted cross bar extending about 3ft over the road. This allowed us to stay on the sidewalk, but get the camera out just a bit to see down towards Union Station. I did have to assist watch for buses though because we weren't high-enough to avoid potentially clipping them.

See below for some in use examples of this images and some of our others for Aimco Real Estate.

Salt Lake City Architectural Photography

We had a great time photographing Salt Lake City’s newest, large commercial office building; 650 Main.

While we’re working through the images for the client at the moment, here is a beautiful shot of the Utah Capitol Building the morning of our departure from the project, as well as a handful of behind the scene’s shots.

Houston Commercial Development

We’ve been busy these past few weeks capturing this beautiful and ever growing development in the North Houston area called City Place!

Utilizing all of our key production services from both high (helicopter @~1500ft AGL) and low elevation aerial (drones @>400ft AGL) to capture video. We also captured on-site motion time-lapses, events, and lifestyle imagery.

Behind The Scenes: Camp Christmas

Back when it was still hot outside, we were inside helping the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Off-Center create some cool marketing material to help promote Denver’s newest holiday experience, Camp Christmas!

The concept was to create an image of title treatment that you see on the show page into a real-life display. Thanks to the incredibly hard work of Lonnie Hanzon of Hanzon Studios who transformed the type treatment into a real-life 3D display!

We used the Tether Tools Case Air to wirelessly transmit images to our iPad for review by the art director and creative team.

The main image was lit using three lights; one overhead to light the seamless and tree branch from above. The other two lights we create an even light across the letter faces and objects.
